Such a Being Rides Upon the Clouds and Enters the Sun

Let me introduce you to a Buddhist hermit that has been living in the Zhongnan Mountains of China for decades. Clip is from Edward Burger's wonderful film, Amongst White Clouds. Yes, there really are Buddhist hermits out there living in huts or caves looking for the secret of life, and the peaks and valleys of China's Zhongnan Mountains have been home to recluses since the time of the Yellow Emperor, some five thousands years ago. [NOTE: Bill Porter's Road to Heaven is a fascinating book about the Buddhist hermit tradition in China].
