Lone Tree

This from my 8th floor hotel room in Guiyang, a bustling city of 3.93 million people and the capital of Guizhou Province in southwestern China. Construction going on everywhere you look. Nice gesture to leave one tree in the middle of the concrete courtyard.  Would've been nice, however, to give it a little more growing room. Wonder where it gets it's water from? Or if there are any seedlings coming up underneath it in that little bit of soil?
